Do I have to pick up bread every week? What if I'm away for a week?

Nope! Buying a share is just pre-paying for a number of loaves of bread with a bigger discount for more loaves up front. This commitment from you just lets me get a better idea of my weekly batches and helps fund more work on the Bread Lab. It also means you don't have to worry about me selling out before you pick up a loaf.

Where do I pick up the bread?

We bake and sell the bread inside of Rough Draft Bar & Books at 82 John St, Kingston, NY 12401. On Saturday's we slide open the barn door to the kitchen.

What time can I pick up bread? How late can I come?

Pickups start at 11 AM and wrap up most weekends at 1 PM. Some weekends we will be doing Toast Lab and will be around for longer, but if you want to/need to come after 1 PM please just contact us and let us know and we'll put the loaf aside for you.

As long as you let us know ahead of time, you can come as late as you want or even the next day (Rough Draft is open 11AM-11PM Saturday and Sunday).

Can I get more than one loaf each week? or a certain week?

Sure - as long as you let us know ahead of time (ideally by the Thursday morning before the bake). Most weekends we make a limited quantity (just enough for our shares), but if you let us know we can bake as much as you want (within reason!).

Can I send someone else to pick up my bread?

Of course, just let us know ahead of time if you can.

How do I know how many loaves I have left in my share?

Each week I print out a little sign in sheet that has the number of loaves you've already picked up in your share. When the number approaches zero, I will also email to remind you to re-up.
